I was delighted to join Jesse Lake Lutheran and Suomi Lutheran churches up “on the edge of the wilderness” in Talmoon, MN for the first workshop in this project. 16 people from around the area came together to share stories in story circles, and then to work with their own devices on turning those stories into digital pieces.
I had a wonderful time learning with this community, and I look forward to seeing their completed stories as they finish editing them. I’m including a few photos from this very beautiful part of MN.
In the meantime, I continue to be in conversation with several communities about the next couple of workshops, and I am actively recruiting for more. If you know of a congregation or other organization that might be interested, please have them be in contact with me!
